About the new occupation codes for E7 visa.

 

New occupation codes are added for E7 visa on May first.

Total 82 of occupation used to be listed for E7 visa.

15 for Manager positions, 50 for Professionals positions, 8 for Semi-professional positions, and 9 for skilled worker positions.

And now, there are total 85 of new occupation codes so that listed occupation positions are increased as 277 to 283.

New occupation positions on E7 visa

Professionals and relevant practician. (2 positions)	Semi-professionals (1 position)

Industry safety and Risk manager

1.Robot engineering professional.(2352)

 

※ Occupation information.

This occupation is for anyone who edit, manage, control or develop and research the program by special functions in order to run the industrial robots.

( The fields of maintaining, production and development of nuclear power system and engineering, precision instrument, camera, and medical mechanic tools are included)

* Example for specific occupation: robot engineering tester.

Industrial robot controller (85302) is excluded.

2. Industry safety and Risk manager

※ Occupation information.

This occupation is for anyone who manages the education, system development, research the cause of risks from construction, mining, agriculture, and chemical industry.

* Example for specific occupation : construction safety technician, construction safety manager, Labor safety and health care manager, industrial safety tester and educator.

3. Customer service (3991)

 

※ Occupation information.

This occupation is for anyone who offer a service such as advertisement, sales, and telephone marketing to customers. It is responsible to manage claims, review or usage of product and edit the script about information of product and available services and provide informations through SNS, email and telephone to customers.

It has been more difficult to invite foreign experts and to satisfy requirements form Korean company after new occupations are added on E7 visa. 

Many new occupations are added since the science and technology are continuously developed. More occupations are not always better for foreign candidates. 

The guide law for domestic laborers has become stronger.

Therefore Korean companies should prove necessity of foreign experts more properly.

Even additional documents which candidates should prepare can be required amd different by each occupations.
