Short term working visa in Korea

  C4 visa is short term working visa which allows foreigners to enter Korea for entertainment and concert activities. E6visa (E-6-1) and C4 visa are very similar.

  In order to stay in Korea within 90 days for profitable entertainment activity, C4 visa is required. In case of staying in Korea more than 90 days, E6 visa is required.

  As like E6 visa, recommendation for an employment must be issued first.
The whole progress of consultation for employment and visa issuance procedure is successfully completed.
  The relevant organization for the recommendation may differ depends on type of TV type mass communication.

* The recommendation is not necessary for a foreign talent who casts for non-profit broadcasting. (In case of foreign talents comes to the show only one time or irregularly with compensation fee)

  Rejected case
If illegal or false employment is detected.
If applicant engages unacceptable field or activities.
If the employment contract includes false, unbalanced, or unfair condition
If the foreigner is younger than 13 years old
If there is a record of recommending foreigner who had employed on the different field other than mentioned on employment contract
If there is a record of monetary penalty or prison labor by unacceptable activities and overstaying.
According to the law of immigration, recommendation may be rejected.

  There is less than 90 days short term visa and more than 90 days long term visa for entertainment visa.

  Overall procedure for visa issuance is similar, however, depends on purpose and type of activities, required documents and detailed procedure can be changed.
