E6 visa Letter of employment recommendation
E6 visa is mainly issued for foreign talents who plan to engage in broadcasting activity in Korea. Any foreign talents who wish to entertainment occupation such as profitable arts, music, literature, concert, model, sports, advertisement and TV show are able to apply for E6 visa.
Foreigners who want to be an entertainer or athlete are required to obtain E6 visa. It is the most important to prove reason and necessity of employment.
The benefits and necessity of employment must be clear and resonable in order to receive Letter of employment recommendation from The Minister or head of Korean public department. E6 visa issuance can only go on with Letter of employment recommendation

CHAPTER Ⅱ ENTRY AND LANDING OF FOREIGNERS
SECTION 1 Entry of Foreigners Article 7 (Visa Issuance)
① A person who intends to obtain a visa under Article 7 of the Act, shall submit ① to the head of Korean diplomatic mission
abroad a written application for a visa along with the documents prescribed by
the Justice Minister's Order.
② The head of Korean diplomatic mission abroad shall issue a visa to a foreigner who has applied for the visa under paragraph under the conditions as ① prescribed by the Justice Minister's Order. In this case, such visa shall contain an entry of necessary matters such as the status and period of stay, etc. under Article 12. <Revised, 2002. 4.18.>
③ When deemed required for a visa issuance, the Minister of Justice may
require the person intending to obtain a visa to furnish a letter of recommendation issued by the head of the related central administrative agency, or ask the head of the related central administrative agency for his opinions thereon.
In case of profitable TV show casting, Korea Communications Commission provide a letter of recommendation after the confirmation process and authorization.
Certificate of casting is a document for proving the fact that a foreign talents will be on the air on broadcasting program.
This document must include name, contact information, address, other profile information, and information of entertainment company (such as profile of CEO, name of company and address of the company).
E-6-2 (Hotel and Adult Entertainment) visa need a letter of recommendation from Korea Media Rating Board.
E-6-2: Hotel and Adult Entertainment; engage in performance or entertainment activities at hotel business facilities and adult entertainment facilities in accordance with Tourism Promotion Acts. (Any form of activities such as music, fine arts, and literature, professional acting, or professional entertainment in accordance with the Public Performance Act are not included.)
The letter of recommendation is required for other than E6 visa
This recommendation is from The Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs. E7 visa with health related field requires the letter of recommendation from The Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs.
The letter of recommendation for foreign experts or talents requires to prove definite reason of necessity and employment. The skills, experience, and expected benefits from the foreign talents must be clearly mentioned.
