E7 visa for special designated activities

E7 visa is issued for a foreigner who has been hired at Korean private company, industry, or public organization. The foreign employment contract must be made and the occupation must be appointed as E7 visa occupation list made by The Ministry of Justice.

Eligibility for E7 visa generally requires BS degree-4 years university degree with the major of relevant field and the a year or more working experience on relevant field after the acquisition of the degree.
If foreigner achieved Mater degree or higher working experience is not necessary.
5 years or more experience is also enough qualification if foreigner haven't achieved any university degree.

 

The standard employment form or contract is the most important thing and the first step for E7 visa issuance. The general information of the company must be provided and job details is also required to be informed.

Next step is to prepare degree certificate and career certificate. These documents are necessary to prove foreign applicant's professionals and special skills. Also the company has to prepare a document showing the necessity and reason of foreign employment.
