E7 visa is issued for foreign professional experts

Highly skilled foreign experts who'd like to work at Korean can apply this visa only if the occupation is listed on total 283 positions of 85 job categories.

First of all they are alien registration cards for foreign people who has changed their type of visa to E7 visa.

Back side of alien registration card contains information of duration of stay.

Before the expiration date, it is possible to apply for extension.

Generally duration of stay is given for one year.

After the amendment of E7 visa policy, many foreign people may have confusion.
Once your application for E7 visa has rejected, it becomes hard to do re-apply.

E7 visa allows one year of stay in Korea.

But if the company and foreign laborer agrees for further employment, it is possible to apply for E7 visa extension.

The company must prove the new employment contract and newly updated contract period.
