The most common visa is D10 visa.

This post is about D10 visa information for foreigners who plan to stay and work in Korea.

What is D10 visa?

D10 visa can be divided as two big sub categories.

one is for foreign people who plan to do general job seeking activities.

The other one is for foreign people who completes or will join into short term paid internship program, immigration education program for Startup Immigration and establishment of own corporation.

※D10 visa eligibility.

- You want to engage in researching and job seeking activities in a relevant field such as

E-1 Professorship, E-2 Foreign Language Instructor, E-3 Research, E-4 Technology Transfer,

E-5 Professional Employment, E-6 Arts & Performances, and E-7 Special Occupation.

- You have bachelor's degree and intellectual poverty or other relevant technology and have been admitted as a Start-up Immigrant by The Minister of Justice.

※D10 visa can be issued

① If you are a previous employee of a listed company on the Fortune’s Global 500 companies

② If you are a graduate of a university listed on the Times’ Higher World University Rankings

③ If you have completed of a Korean domestic research program.

④ If you are admitted by the head of a diplomatic mission abroad

⑤ If you are preparing for Technology and Business Startup

Other types of visa holders visit us and ask change status of stay in order to get different type of visa.

D2 visa which is study and student visa can easily be change to D10 visa.

There are two point categories.

1. Basic requirement point

2. Optional requirement point

Applicant must have equal to or more than 20 basic requirement points (total 50points)

Basic requirement point + Optional requirement point

= 60 points or higher

Points are given by your Age, Education level.
